The Noteworthy Award
“A person with disability who has made a noteworthy contribution to the community”.
The nominated person will have:
- made an important contribution to the Alice Springs community in their chosen field,
- a strong history of being actively involved in the community, and
- improved the lives of people in Alice Springs or the community as a whole through their efforts.
The Champion Award
“A person with or without disability who has been an advocate for the rights and well-being of people with disability”.
The nominated person will have:
- a strong history of being a champion for the rights of people with disability,
- promoted awareness and understanding of people with disability, and
- made contributions that has resulted in improved conditions, services, well-being or understanding of people with disability.
Conditions of Entry
The person you are nominating must:
- Live in Alice Springs
- Agree to be nominated and to have their details shared
- Be available to attend the Mayoral Awards on 3 December
